Revolution seek spirited play at home vs. Toronto FC

The New England Revolution will look to avoid a third consecutive loss when they host Toronto FC on Saturday night in Foxborough, Mass.
The Revolution (8-14-7, 31 points) have lost three of their last four matches.
New England sits 11th in the Eastern Conference table, 11 points back of the playoff line with five matches remaining. The Revolution will seek to sweep the season series against Toronto, having beaten the Reds 2-0 north of the border on May 3.
Carles Gil and Leo Campana each scored a goal in the first half as New England improved to 4-2-2 in the last eight matches against Toronto. Despite the overall success, the Revs are 1-3-2 in their previous six matches vs. Toronto in New England.
"My mindset is simple: I'm going to keep moving this club forward," New England coach Caleb Porter said. "That means short term, win the next game at home. We have three home games left. For me, those home games are very important -- getting results in all three, starting with Toronto."
Toronto travels to Foxborough looking to stretch its streak of unbeaten matches to five. The Reds (5-13-10, 25 points), who are 0-0-4 in their last four games, have not lost since a 2-0 decision to Charlotte on July 26.
A loss to New England on Saturday would eliminate Toronto from MLS Cup playoff contention as the Reds sit 17 points behind the playoff line with six matches remaining. The Reds also could be eliminated if Chicago wins or draws vs. New York City or if the New York Red Bulls defeat the Portland Timbers.
"I think we're in a good place mentally," Toronto coach Robin Fraser said. "Obviously, we're not happy about where we are in the table, but I feel like the team has really done everything they can in terms of work and preparation and what they've done in the games."
Captain Jonathan Osorio helped Toronto earn a 1-1 home draw against CF Montreal on Aug. 30. The Reds' last victory came on July 16 -- a 1-0 win in San Diego.
